A group of five other Indigenous leaders and I informed this new blog post: Interested in working with Tribal communities? Consider these 6 things first. We’ve found that while many well-intentioned non-Native organizations seek to help, their requests can overwhelm or burden Native people who are flooded with requests, don’t have the bandwidth to educate people while serving their communities, or encounter non-Native organizations that start partnerships without a respectful cultural competency.
